great product as advertised
after doing lot of research on sony models I decided to go with this new model. And now I can say that I made the right choice.

1) picture qaulity is perfect.
2) in-built speakers are louder than 8inch model and the sound is very good( I saw the sony 8 inch model at my friends place )
3) battery life - as advertised fully charged battery comes 6 Hrs(+- 15 min). I tested and confirmed this 3 times.
4) DVD drive is very quiet.

I think these qualities are enough to say this is a great product.

overall this is a very satisfactory purchase.

Great DVD player - exactly what I wanted
I bought this player to watch educational DVD’s from the Teaching Company in areas that interest me without having my family & friends (much less a plane full of strangers) having to share my interests. It is just perfect! It’s easy to use (I’m technically challenged!), the sound is great with or without the earphones and the picture is amazing. All in all,I am really,really pleased with my purchase. I bought it from Onecall - great price, no tax, no shipping and I received it in THREE days! Does everything I need done right.
This is my second DVD player and I was either using garbage before or I am easily impressed because I was quite satisfied with the Sony. I use my dvd player primarily when I fly. I liked the size and ease of use of the Sony. It is a little weighty, but easily fits in the storage compartment on the backside of the chair in front of you on the plane. I really liked the controls on the screen. They responded to the slightest touch and worked well. I originally thought the rotating screen a non-issue, but found it quite convenient when traveling. I was able to turn the screen around and place the unit in the corner of the serving tray to save space. This allowed me to watch a movie and eat at the same time. I don’t get into all that technical crap. Look, it plays DVDs on a big clear screen with pretty good sound. What else do you need?

The Screen and Controls
The high-resolution, 3.5-inch LCD with adjustable LED backlighting color screen makes everything on the screen bright and easy-to-see, including full-color album artwork, if available. You can view full-screen or thumbnail views of album art, plus detailed track information from this palm-sized device. Sonos designed the CR200 with an adjustable backlit screen and buttons, which makes it easy to operate in low-light conditions. You can even adjust the brightness of the LCD and buttons to suit your style or extend the battery life. The scroll wheel makes it easy to flip through large music collections and make selections, or you can power scroll by letters to jump ahead to find an artist, album, or track.

The Controller’s button layout is intuitive and provides complete music management and control. Two buttons are dedicated to providing direct access to the Controller’s main menus — Music and Zones — for quick, snappy control. The CR200 is also designed to conserve battery life with a movement sensor that automatically turns the Controller on when you pick it up, and a light sensor that only turns on backlighting when it is needed.

Sonos In Depth
The CR200 is just one part of a complete Sonos Digital Music System. To make your system complete, you’ll also need a Sonos ZonePlayer. With the ZonePlayers in the rooms of your choice, you can play the same song in different rooms, or different songs in different rooms. You can have up to 32 Sonos ZonePlayers throughout your house — from the bedroom to the backyard. Connect your first ZonePlayer to your router and all the others work wirelessly. Choose between the ZP90, which connects directly to your home theater or stereo, or the ZP120, which features its own built-in amplifier. Or better yet, choose both for the ultimate in multi-room music.
